Parloa’s mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloa is shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience — one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale.
About the Role: As the Software Engineer, GTM at Parloa, you will reimagine how our Go-To-Market organization operates by building the systems, tools, and workflows that power it.
This is not a role focused on configuring SaaS tools or maintaining existing systems. You will design and build custom solutions from the ground up that directly improve how GTM operates across the full lifecycle.
You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and GTM leadership to identify high-impact problems and turn them into working systems. You will build across our stack, which includes TypeScript, Node.js, Python, React, NoSQL databases, and modern AI tooling, to create internal tools, integrations, and automated workflows. You will partner directly with our Lead Engineer for Special Projects to solve problems and ship quickly.
At Parloa, AI is embedded in how we build. You will use AI as a core part of your development process, moving rapidly from idea to prototype to production and pushing tools like Claude, Cursor, and Codex to their limits.
This is your opportunity to own problems end to end, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and build systems that directly impact how a company scales revenue. You will work at the intersection of engineering and business, translating strategy into systems that drive measurable outcomes.
Areas of Ownership:
Build and own internal systems that power how Parloa’s GTM organization operates end to end, from lead flow through customer expansion
Translate GTM strategy and business problems into scalable technical solutions, including custom tools, workflows, and system architectures
Design and develop AI‑powered workflows that improve efficiency, decision‑making, and execution across the entire GTM motion
Rapidly prototype new ideas using AI‑assisted development, validate impact, and evolve successful solutions into production‑grade systems
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and manual processes across the GTM lifecycle and replace them with automated, reliable systems
Build and maintain integrations across core GTM systems using APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines to ensure consistent and accurate data flow
Own the quality, scalability, and maintainability of the systems you build, balancing speed of execution with long‑term reliability
Partner directly with GTM and company leadership to prioritize, scope, and deliver high‑impact initiatives
Enable GTM teams to operate more independently by building tools that are intuitive, accessible, and well‑documented for non‑technical users
Who You Are:
Experience building and maintaining high‑quality software systems or applications, with the ability to work across the stack and take solutions from prototype to production
Deep experience with AI‑native development workflows, including regular use of tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex
Experience building and integrating systems using APIs, MCP, CLI tools, webhooks, and OAuth
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, defining problems as well as solving them without detailed specifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with non‑technical stakeholders and translate technical solutions into business value
Ability to move quickly while maintaining high standards for reliability, scalability, and code quality
Strong understanding of version control and CI/CD practices, including Git workflows, branching strategies, and automated testing and deployment pipelines such as GitHub Actions
Nice to Have:
Experience working with CRM systems, project management tools, or BI platforms in a production environment
Active contributions to open‑source AI tooling or developer communities
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes for packaging and deployment
Why Parloa? We’re at the beginning of a new era in customer experience, one where AI doesn’t just respond, but understands, reasons, and takes action. We’re building agentic AI that enterprises trust with their most important customer moments: complex questions, high volumes, real stakes. When millions of people reach out to a brand, those interactions aren’t just support tickets; they’re defining experiences. We’re here to raise the standard: making every conversation seamless, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. If you care about shaping how businesses and customers connect at scale and want your work to matter in real, everyday moments, this is where you do it.
At Parloa, ownership isn’t a buzzword; it means being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. We operate in a category that’s evolving fast, where the bar is high, and the problems are complex. We hire people who think in solutions, communicate with clarity, and follow through. People who are comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising the standard for themselves and those around them.
We’ve grown beyond the earliest startup phase, but we’ve kept the intensity: fast execution, direct feedback, and a strong expectation to contribute meaningfully from day one.
Backed by leading global investors like General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, we’re scaling with a clear ambition: to become the global category leader in enterprise‑grade conversational AI.
Compensation for this role is structured as On‑Target Earnings (OTE), consisting of a base salary and performance‑based variable component, in addition to an equity package.
* We provide equal opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability status, socioeconomic background and other characteristics.
