We’re looking for a
senior software engineer who enjoys working directly with clients , not just writing code. This is a
part‑time, fully remote contractor role
where you’ll act as the bridge between clients and our engineering team. You’ll lead conversations, clarify requirements, and ensure everyone stays aligned – from non‑technical stakeholders to developers. This role is ideal if you want to stay close to real‑world software projects while avoiding the demands of a full‑time engineering position. What You’ll Do
Join client video calls (discovery, progress updates, follow‑ups) Ask the right questions to clarify requirements and define scope Translate business needs into clear, actionable tasks for developers Explain technical concepts, decisions, and trade‑offs in simple terms Write concise meeting notes and define next steps Proactively communicate timelines, risks, and blockers Support light pre‑sales conversations and identify growth opportunities Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar technical role Strong understanding of modern development (web, APIs, cloud, mobile) Fluent English (spoken and written), comfortable leading client calls Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders Comfortable working with US‑based clients and time zones Highly organized, reliable, and proactive communicator Able to work independently in a fully remote environment Nice to Have
Experience working with US‑based clients Background in customer success, account management, or pre‑sales Experience in FinTech, eCommerce, or AI‑related projects Company:

USD $80–120/hour (contract), ~5–10 hours/week depending on client demand Location:
Remote (US time zone overlap required)
