Position Summary Reporting into the Vice President of IT, the IT Project Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the successful delivery of IT initiatives that align with organizational priorities and maximize business value. This role champions operational excellence, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects are executed with resilience, transparency, and measurable impact.
Position Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from intake and planning through execution, risk management, and close-out
Manage IT project intake and portfolio prioritization, partnering with IT and business leaders to align work to strategy, capacity, and value
Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
Monitor delivery performance and elevate risks early, providing clear, executive-ready status, recommendations, and trade-offs
Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of new systems, coordinating change readiness, communications, and post-implementation review
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, ensuring accountability, continuity, and delivery against agreed outcomes
Track outcomes and lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement of IT project delivery practices
Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Deep expertise in formal project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and use of project management software (e.g., MS Planner/Project)
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure and enterprise applications
Understands how applications are built, deployed, operated, and supported well to plan work, ask the right questions, manage dependencies, and coordinate the right people
Ability to plan, track, and coordinate work across multiple projects with competing priorities
Exceptional organizational skills, with proven ability to manage dependencies, risks and resources across concurrent projects
Proactive risk management and contingency planning capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing executive level presentations, reports and stakeholder updates
Ability to facilitate collaboration and alignment among diverse stakeholder groups
Comfort working in a largely remote environment using digital collaboration and project management tools
Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new technologies
Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Position Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
3-5 years’ experience managing multiple complex IT projects, including ERP/CRM implementations or relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in project intake, evaluation and portfolio management.
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
ADKAR certification
Experience working in any of the following environments:

Physical Attributes
Ability to Sit for Extended Periods: Capability to work at a desk for long durations
Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a computer, including typing, mouse handling, and other office equipment
Visual Acuity: Ability to read and view a computer screen for extended periods
Hearing and Speaking: Clear communication over phone and video calls
Environment Setup: Access to a quiet, professional home office setup conducive to focused work and virtual meetings
Lifting: Occasionally requires lifting up to 25 lbs as needed
