Responsibilities
Facilitating Agile ceremonies: The Scrum Master facilitates the various Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, ensuring that meetings are conducted effectively and that team members actively participate.
Coach and mentor the team: Acts as a coach and mentor to the development teams, helping them understand and apply the SAFe principles and practices, and resolving obstacles or impediments that affect productivity.
Enable collaboration and communication: Promotes collaboration and communication within development teams and between teams and stakeholders, encouraging use of visual boards, tools, and techniques to enhance transparency and communication.
Support product owners: Supports product owners in creating and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.
Continuous improvement: Drives continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of Agile processes, conducting regular retrospectives to gather feedback and take corrective action.
Facilitate Scrum teams' self-organization: Helps Scrum teams become self-organized and high-performing by promoting autonomy and empowering them to make decisions and take ownership.
Ensure SAFe compliance: Ensures adherence to the SAFe framework and principles, working with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to establish and maintain SAFe practices and standards company-wide.
Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or similar degree (or equivalent).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or immediate plans to become certified.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the SAFe framework and Agile methodologies.
Certification in SAFe (SSM, SASM, or SPC).
5+ years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams or Project Management at the enterprise level.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Mental Requirements
Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and evaluate information objectively, considering different perspectives and potential implications before drawing conclusions or making recommendations.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Quantitative Aptitude: Strong numerical skills essential for conducting quantitative analysis, working with statistical methods and models, and manipulating data using mathematical operations.
Data Interpretation: Skilled in interpreting data visualizations, charts, graphs, and other data presentations to extract meaningful insights and communicate findings effectively.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts and insights to non‑technical stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and verbal discussions.
Curiosity and Learning Agility: Strong desire to learn and explore new methodologies, techniques, and tools in the field of data analysis and insights generation.
Resilience: Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and overcome setbacks in a fast‑paced, ambiguous analytical environment.
Ethical and Integrity: Upholding ethical standards and maintaining integrity in handling sensitive data and information.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
Must provide high‑speed internet access/connection and appropriate office setup and maintenance.
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Compensation Base compensation ranges from $96,000 to $126,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
