Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, driven, and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key growth driver for our staffing firm, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, as well as managing and expanding relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong "hunter" mentality, deep understanding of the staffing industry, and a track record of driving revenue through contract staffing and direct hire placements. This role is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition:
Proactively prospect, cold call, and network to generate new business leads, focusing on mid-market and enterprise accounts.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Hiring Managers, HR Directors, and C-level executives within client organizations.
Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to understand their talent acquisition needs, challenges, and company culture to provide tailored staffing solutions (contract, direct hire, RPO).
Pipeline Management:
Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activity, manage the sales funnel, and forecast revenue.
Negotiation & Closing:
Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients, procurement, and vendors.
Recruiter Collaboration:
Work closely with the internal recruitment team to ensure a clear understanding of job orders and timely placement of high-quality candidates.
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new growth areas.
Networking:
Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and professional functions.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
3–5+ years of proven success in B2B sales or business development, specifically within the staffing or recruitment industry.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Track Record:
Documented history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Strong cold-calling, networking, negotiation, and closing skills.
Tools:
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue growth from new and existing business.
Number of new client acquisitions per quarter.
Volume of qualified meetings/appointments booked.

Compensation Base Salary $65,000-$75,000 + Quarterly Bonus based upon percentage to quota. First year OTE $105-$115K
