We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert speech therapy services to pediatric patients, helping children overcome communication challenges and develop essential language skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be open to *providing clinical supervision and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)* to ensure high-quality service delivery across our caseload. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric populations
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage
* Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques and age-appropriate activities
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support ongoing patient progress
* Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary to maximize outcomes
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
* Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home and in educational settings
*Experience*
* Valid TX state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Proven experience working with children in clinical or school settings, with a focus on early intervention preferred
* Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech production, anatomy relevant to the vocal apparatus, and medical terminology used in healthcare environments
* Skilled in patient assessment techniques specific to pediatric populations and familiar with developmental milestones
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
* Ability to apply speech therapy methods within a compassionate, patient-centered approach
* Knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, and the impact of neurological or developmental conditions on speech and language
