Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, compliance, and system support. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in end-to-end payroll operations, possess a strong understanding of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.), and be comfortable working independently in a remote environment. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processing for [monthly/bi-weekly/weekly] cycles.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
Handle payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting.
Maintain payroll records, process off-cycle payments, and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate employee data and system integration.
Identify and implement payroll process improvements.
Support payroll system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Generate reports and analytics for stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a mid-to-large scale organization.
Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
Experience using payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or UKG Pro.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote work environment.
