We're looking for the next great addition to our Royalty Administration team. We’ve closed nearly 90 deals since January. Nearly five deals a week. Every time we sell a catalog, the amount of money we process increases. That’s where you come in. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem solver and Excel wiz. Bonus points if you show us a shortcut we haven't seen before. A huge bonus if you are as excited about music as you are Excel shortcuts. You will live in royalty statements and Excel spreadsheets. It's important that it's your jam. An eye for detail is essential. You will help to manage the millions of dollars we pay out each year. We’ve already paid out over $7M YTD and last year it totaled over $20M. Our clients trust us to make sure they are being paid accurately. We add even more value to them when we catch mistakes and get them corrected. The Royalty Administration team's workload is the fastest growing across the organization. Your success will depend on your ability to effectively organize and prioritize your work. Even better if you can make our processes better and more efficient! Job Responsibilities
Process Royalty Distributions — Retrieve royalty statements, clean files, create reports & payments
Reconcile royalty payments, flag discrepancies, and work to resolve them
Payee Management and Support — First level of support for incoming queries
Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
Support Royalty Administration and Accounting Departments
Required Education/Experience
Business degree, Accounting degree, or something comparable
Excel expert
Preferred
Previous royalties and music industry experiencei
Accounting, auditing, or analyst background
Compensation $60K-$75K based on experience
