Data Reporting Analyst
plays a key role in delivering reporting and analytics solutions across the
US-based Healthcare
Domain Operation. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of report development—from requirements gathering through delivery—using a variety of data sources and a variety of reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence). This role will eventually drive data governance efforts, and engage stakeholders across clinical, operational, and financial domains to enable a data-driven culture. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex reporting solutions using internal tools and data sets as well as client data sources and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Crystal Reports, and other BI tools. Serve as a technical resource for building data models and report design best practices. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and deliver impactful reporting solutions. Lead the testing, validation, and deployment of reporting tools and dashboards. Manage and prioritize incoming data/report requests; triage issues, troubleshoot and report-related problems. Build and maintain data structures such as Universes/Cubes, extracts, or third-party tools as needed. Champion data governance by contributing to data definitions, standards, and documentation practices. Facilitate and lead design and technical review meetings. Track key operations and compliance metrics and SLAs and provide timely insights to operations and compliance leadership teams Build and maintain compliance and operations dashboards that offer near real-time visibility in performance Collaborate with offshore analytics and reporting teams to ensure alignment with broader reporting standards Support monthly and quarterly business reviews, by compiling data-backed summaries of performance, highlights, improvements and successes Operate with a problem-solving mindset, translating raw data into clear and actionable insights that result in business decisions Serve as a reporting subject matter expert during implementations and system upgrades. Maintain ongoing collaboration with application teams to align reporting with evolving system capabilities. Required Qualifications: Must be able to pass a US DoD security clearance and be a US citizen, residing in the United States. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, statistics, or a healthcare field and, 3-5 years of qualitative and quantitative data analysis experience including hands-on report development experience with at least 2+ years focused on healthcare reporting and EMR systems. 1-2 years of experience with HIE platforms and demonstrates knowledge of system interoperability. Strong experience with any of the following: SQL, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Web Intelligence, and universe design. Experience developing data extracts and scripts using SQL and/or Python. Intermediate to expert SQL skills and familiarity with relational database concepts. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in health informatics, data science, or related field. Prior experience with medical management systems and EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech. Exposure to data governance frameworks and best practices in healthcare analytics Microsoft Certified Power BI Developeror ability to obtain certification within 6 months. Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical thinking abilities. Familiarity with BI environments and data architecture.
