We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with a strong background in US/Canadian Payroll configuration and support. You will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday Payroll solutions for our clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor—guiding clients through best practices, helping them enhance their existing configurations, and ensuring smooth, compliant payroll operations across their Workday landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives on solving complex payroll challenges and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Responsibilities
Lead or support the deployment, configuration, and post-implementation support of Workday Payroll solutions, with a focus on Canadian Payroll. Partner with client Payroll leads to analyze, enhance, and expand existing Payroll configurations and business processes. Manage functional adjustments and configuration updates while evaluating downstream impacts across modules. Support clients in troubleshooting payroll issues and optimizing system performance. Collaborate closely with internal and client teams across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking to ensure seamless integrations and accurate processing. Prioritize and respond to client cases, maintaining a high level of service delivery. Required Skills
Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, including Canadian Payroll. Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting in the Canadian context. Proven ability to review, analyze, and refine existing payroll configurations and processes. Proficiency in Workday modules related to Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. Strong interpersonal and time management abilities with a proven record of meeting deliverables. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the broader business context. Workday Certification required. Qualification and Preferred Skills
College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems. Exposure to global payroll implementations beyond the US/Canada. Familiarity with Workday reporting tools and business process configuration. Explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms. Align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality. Proactively drive process improvements. Comfortable with video calls and proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team. As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the US/Canada, so long as you are authorised to work in the country you reside in without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Equal Opportunity Statement
Our people are our most important asset. We recognise the need for a committed, skilled and loyal team and strive to create a working environment that is flexible, caring and considerate of all needs. We attract the best people and reward them appropriately. Staff development and upskilling are core to what we do.
