The Opportunity
We are hiring multiple
Business Development Managers and Associates
to help expand Deep Intelligent Pharma’s AI-native clinical and regulatory platform across North America, with a focus on
biotech and pharma companies companies . Deep Intelligent Pharma is a
Series D company backed by top-tier VCs such as Sequoia and SIG .
This is a
full-cycle, hands-on sales role
for strong individual contributors who want real ownership—building pipeline, running deals end-to-end, and helping define how we go to market in the US. You will work closely with founders and product leadership as one of our first commercial hires in the region, with a clear path to increased responsibility as the business scales.
Deep Intelligent Pharma (DIP) helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies develop drugs faster, at lower cost, and with higher trial success rates by
using advanced AI to replace large CRO teams for trial design, analysis, writing, translation, and regulatory documentation —all supervised by expert humans.
In December 2025, DIP raised a $50mm Series D round, led by Sequoia and SIG. Founded in 2017, DIP is pioneering a new, AI-native approach to clinical development. Our multi-agent platform performs scientific writing, data management, statistical reasoning, clinical programming, and regulatory compliance with exceptional speed and precision. Trusted by over 1,000 global pharmaceutical companies and biotechs, DIP is transforming how drugs are developed worldwide.
What you will be selling DIP's services are centered around clinical trials. Traditional clinical trials, delivered by CROs (Contract Research Organizations), involved large amounts slow, manual language and data work such as translation, medical writing, FDA approval documents and data related work. You will be selling services that create the same deliverables, but are enabled by AI, reviewed by our internal team. Specifically, you will be selling:
Translation packages for license in/out drug partnerships
Protocols, IND
eCTD modules for regulatory submissions
Translation for multi-country approvals (organic pipelines)
Full clinical trials in the APAC region to US biotech companies wanting to increase speed and 10x their R&D investment return
What You Will Do
Own the full sales cycle
from outbound prospecting through contract signature, focusing on mid-sized biotech and select enterprise life sciences companies.
Build and manage your own pipeline , taking a proactive outbound approach while leveraging early inbound interest and referrals as our US presence grows.
Clearly articulate the value of DIP’s AI platform , including how we accelerate clinical trials reduce burn rate and reach milestones faster.
Lead product demos and commercial conversations
with senior stakeholders in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Medical Writing, collaborating with internal experts on deeper scientific or technical topics when needed.
Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes , building credibility and trust with scientific, operational, and technical buyers throughout the sales cycle.
Partner closely with founders, product, and delivery teams
to refine ICP definition, messaging, pricing, and deal strategy for the US market.
Capture and share structured market feedback
to inform product roadmap, positioning, and future go-to-market strategy.
Help lay the foundation for a scalable sales motion , documenting learnings and best practices as early deals are closed.
What We’re Looking For
This role is designed for early-career professionals
who want to get in on the AI movement, and to build deep hands-on skills in an AI-native commercial environment
Individuals who have developed their professional habits in an
AI-first environment
and are fluent in using AI tools as a daily extension of their work. This role is not a good fit for candidates who are primarily seeking senior-level scope, people management, or established processes.
1-5 years of work experience;
experience selling Life Sciences or Biotech, CRO/CDMO enterprise services, non-life sciences tech enterprise SaaS, banking, or consulting background is a plus
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, eager and able to learn fast
Demonstrated full-cycle sales experience , including outbound prospecting and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
Able to navigate
multiple internal stakeholder
buyers in Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, or Medical Writing.
Track record of strong performance , including meeting or exceeding quota and closing $500k ACV deals driven largely by self-sourced pipeline is preferred
High ownership and learning velocity , with comfort operating in ambiguity and contributing to early-stage go-to-market development.
Clear and persuasive communicator , capable of translating complex technology into tangible business and scientific impact.
Track record of student leadership, varsity sports, competitions is a plus
If you come from a non-life sciences background (including hospital systems), but believe you can adapt to a new industry very quickly with the help of AI, we expect you to demonstrate that during your interview.

Total annual cash OTE compensation:
$120,000 - $220,000 (range reflects base + commission; actual compensation varies by performance and experience)
Annual commission:
An additional $80,000 - $100,000 for meeting annual quota (based on $5MM in annual sales); Commission is uncapped, with accelerators for performance above quota
