The
Utility Solutions Sales Director
will lead the company’s utility-focused commercial strategy, driving growth and market penetration with utility customers. You’ll define and execute the go-to-market strategy, build and mentor a high-performing sales team, and strengthen relationships with customers and manufacturers to accelerate growth within the utility market. This position is remote and requires heavy travel to be in front of customers approximately 50% of the time. What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market share with utility customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels within the utility segment. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and product management to deliver customer-specific solutions. Drive pipeline development, forecast performance, and ensure the successful execution of key account plans. Maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and strategic partners to enhance visibility and credibility in the market. Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and customer meetings to advance brand presence and industry engagement. The Ideal Candidate Will Have
7+ years of sales experience in electrical products or related solutions within the utility market. Strong understanding of investor-owned utilities, EPCs, and electrical distributors. Solid knowledge of electrical products and supply chains used in substation, transmission, and distribution projects. Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, hands-on approach to business growth. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%). Base salary range: $150,000 – $175,000 + annual performance bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) with company match.
