Über
Responsibilities
Design, code, and implement software for embedded devices on unmanned aircraft.
Support integration of sensors and processors into aircraft systems (autopilots, payloads, radios).
Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software issues.
Read schematics and use standard debugging equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter).
Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams.
Participate in design and peer reviews.
Maintain high software quality standards and configuration control.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field.
3‑4 years of experience developing embedded real‑time software.
Experience with real‑time operating systems (VxWorks, FreeRTOS).
Proficient in C/C++ for embedded real‑time environments.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience with CAN, SPI, and serial (RS485, etc.) protocols.
Experience reading and understanding electrical hardware schematics.
Experience writing firmware for physical devices.
Fundamental low‑level firmware knowledge.
Pay $150,000 – $200,000 USD
