Background Our client is a well-established Data Centre/Pharmaceutical and fit-out contractor operating across Ireland and mainland Europe, specialising in technically complex commercial and industrial projects. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Spain. Whats on Offer Attractive salary package with performance-related incentives Pension contribution and strong employee benefits Annual leave package with additional company perks Exposure to large-scale international construction projects Long-term career development within a growing organisation Key Responsibilities Manage project cost planning, budgeting, and commercial reporting from pre-construction through to final account. Administer contractual processes and ensure projects are delivered in line with commercial obligations. Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and financial tracking systems. Prepare cost analysis reports, valuations, and cash flow forecasts on a regular basis. Participate in project handover, review, and progress meetings with key stakeholders. Identify commercial risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies where required. Develop strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams. Assist with procurement activities, subcontractor packages, and material cost management. Monitor commercial performance to ensure projects remain within budget and programme targets. Promote and support company standards relating to health & safety, quality, and compliance. Key Skills Required Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field. At least 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction sector. Previous exposure to fit-out, industrial, or specialist construction projects would be beneficial. Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of contracts, procurement, and reporting procedures. Understanding of measurement principles, valuations, and construction methodologies. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Flexibility to travel periodically to project locations across Europe.
