Senior Quantity Surveyor A leading contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong commercial background and proven ability to successfully manage project costs on large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting to ensure financial targets are achieved. Prepare, manage, and review subcontractor packages, procurement, and contract administration. Lead monthly valuations, variations, payment applications, ensuring timely cash flow management. Monitor project costs, identify risks, and implement effective cost control measures. Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve the best commercial outcomes. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management. Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required. Collaborate closely with project teams, design consultants, and site management to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements: Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, with experience operating at Senior QS level. Strong experience working on large-scale construction projects in Ireland. Experience in controlled environments, data centres, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects. Excellent knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
