We are hiring US-based interpreters! Position Overview: As a remote interpreter, you will facilitate communication between Hmong and English speakers. The role requires processing information quickly and accurately in a professional environment. A quiet and secure workspace is essential, with note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries as useful tools. Requirements: 90% English proficiency Steady wired internet connection USB wired headset Windows 10 or MacOS What We Offer: Fully remote position with a clear schedule Full-time or part-time options Immediate start after onboarding Monthly payments, per minute Responsibilities: Answer calls professionally, adhering to the interpreter’s code of conduct Familiarity with industry-specific vocabulary, especially healthcare and medical fields Participate in internal professional training Communicate and report to your team leader Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency/bilingual/native level in English and target language 1+ years interpreting experience (preferred) High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory skills Additional Details: Position is full-time, remote, with a clear schedule This job is active and accepting applications.
