We're hiring an organized and motivated
HR Coordinator
to support the daily operations of our People function. In this role, you'll help streamline HR processes, improve employee experience, and ensure compliance as we grow our team of licensed agents, sales professionals, and support staff. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of building a values-driven culture from the ground up.
This position is fully remote

Location:
100% remote (US required, preferably Midwest/Eastern Time Zone)
What you'll do:
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and 1099 contractors
Maintain accurate employee records and update the HRIS with all personnel changes
Support benefits enrollment, employee communications, and payroll documentation
Track compliance requirements, including licensing records and employment eligibility
Schedule interviews and support recruiting logistics in collaboration with hiring managers
Help plan internal initiatives such as new hire welcome kits, team events, and culture programs
Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and systems
Assist with drafting HR communications, policy documents, and internal updates
Partner with Finance and Operations on timekeeping, reporting, and data audits
Who are you:
1–2 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a startup or agency setting
Familiarity with HR tools such as BreezyHR, ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
Experience with insurance licensing or working with agent populations is a plus
