We are looking for a passionate and driven sales professional to join us as the Sales Manager for Avalon Miners in North and South America. In this role, you will manage and expand Canaan's customer base in the Bitcoin mining industry. You will work closely with the sales and business development team to drive sales growth, build long‑term customer relationships, and generate new business. You must also travel extensively to various locations to meet customers, attend industry events, and nurture leads.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales plan that maximizes profitable revenue from new business while increasing sales to existing large sustainable customers.
Build and strengthen relationships with key end‑users and channels to maximize sales and revenue opportunities.
Win business and contracts by maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records of all sales activities, communication, opportunities, and forecasting, ensuring effective communication and a streamlined sales process.
Understand and analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses to strategically position our products and services to win business.
Work collaboratively with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
Skills and Requirements
Has a genuine passion for selling equipment and services to the mining industry, a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales roles, and a proven track record of success selling to the mining industry and large, complex organizations.
Demonstrates a proven record of high‑level sales success, meeting and exceeding goals and objectives, with a passion for driving revenue growth.
Possesses the ability to quickly adapt to changing industry trends, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Must be willing to travel extensively to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
