This role is a hands‑on technical position focused on helping business systems communicate securely and reliably with one another. The Integrations Specialist will work across business applications, data platforms, Microsoft technologies, and third‑party tools to build scalable connections, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a strong developer foundation and several years of experience working with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, scripting, and Microsoft cloud technologies. This person should be comfortable translating business requirements into technical integration designs, developing and supporting automations, troubleshooting data flows, and partnering with stakeholders across IT and business functions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, Microsoft platforms, and third‑party systems
Build and support workflow automations, orchestration processes, and data exchange mechanisms that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
Develop, configure, and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, web services, webhooks, and related system‑to‑system communication patterns
Write and maintain scripts, utilities, and reusable components using PowerShell and Python to support automation, administration, and integration processes
Configure and support integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Power Platform, and related services
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical designs, and recommend scalable integration solutions
Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling across integrated systems
Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, authentication issues, synchronization errors, and performance concerns
Monitor integration health and support production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts
Maintain clear technical documentation for integrations, scripts, workflows, configurations, and support procedures
Collaborate with developers, administrators, analysts, and vendors to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions
Apply best practices for authentication, authorization, logging, resiliency, and change management across integration work
Requirements
4-7 years of professional experience in systems integration, software development, automation engineering, or related technical roles
Strong hands‑on experience with REST APIs, including authentication, request/response handling, pagination, error management, and data transformation
Experience working with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft cloud service integrations
Strong proficiency in PowerShell for automation, administration, and scripting
Strong proficiency in Python for integration development, process automation, and tooling
Experience with the Microsoft environment, including several of the following: Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Power Platform services
Strong understanding of JSON, XML, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, tokens, certificates, and role‑based access controls
Experience designing and supporting system‑to‑system integrations, data flows, and event‑driven or scheduled automation processes
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, workflows, and scalable integration solutions
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root‑cause analysis skills
Experience documenting technical solutions, support procedures, and architectural decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams
Preferred Skills
Experience with Power Platform solution design, governance, and administration
Familiarity with SharePoint Framework, Power Apps customizations, Power Automate cloud flows, and Microsoft 365 administration
Experience integrating identity, HR, financial, document management, CRM, service management, or collaboration platforms
Exposure to Azure integration services, middleware platforms, or iPaaS tools such as Logic Apps, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, or similar technologies
Experience with SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting data quality or synchronization issues
Familiarity with source control, structured deployment practices, and CI/CD processes
Experience supporting integrations in regulated, security‑conscious, or enterprise‑scale environments
Microsoft certifications in areas such as Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Security, or Identity
Compensation
The budgeted salary range for this position is $125,000.00 – $155,000.00
