Über
Senior Consultant in Observability , you will be the primary architect and strategist for our clients' monitoring ecosystems. You aren't just looking at dashboards; you are engineering "eyes" into complex, distributed cloud environments. You will bridge the gap between IT operations, development, and business stakeholders to ensure high availability, performance, and proactive issue resolution.
Your expertise in
Dynatrace
and
Grafana Observability Suite
will be the cornerstone of our observability strategy, leveraging AI-driven insights and custom visualization to provide a 360-degree view of system health.
Relevant Experience
Experience:
8+ years in IT, with at least 6+ years of dedicated experience in Observability and Performance Management.
Core Expertise:
Deep technical proficiency in
Dynatrace
(SaaS/Managed/Grail) and the
Grafana Observability
ecosystem.
Splunk Proficiency:
Proven experience with
Splunk ITSI
(Service Analyzers, Multi-KPI alerts) and
Splunk Core
(complex SPL, indexing) will be an added preference.
KRAs
Observability Architecture:
Design unified observability strategies using
Dynatrace
for automated APM and
Grafana Observability
for high-cardinality, open-source-aligned telemetry.
Dynatrace Mastery:
Lead the deployment for intelligent root cause analysis, and establish SLO/SLI frameworks.
Grafana LGTM Stack:
Architect and maintain the
LGTM stack
(Loki for logs, Grafana for visualization, Tempo for tracing, and Miimir for metrics).
Service Intelligence:
Implement
Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI)
to correlate infrastructure health with business KPIs using Glass Tables and Predictive Analytics.
Open Standards:
Drive the adoption of
OpenTelemetry (OTel)
to standardize data collection across diverse technology stacks.
Consulting & Governance:
Advise clients on observability maturity, dashboard governance, and cost-optimization for data retention and ingestion.
Soft Skills & Consulting Mindset
Analytical Rigor: The ability to find the "needle in the haystack" during complex system incidents.
Communication: Translating technical "noise" into clear business value for executive stakeholders.
Adaptability: Comfortable moving between different client cultures and modern tech stacks.
Process-Driven Approach: Deep commitment to process-oriented thinking, ensuring structured, scalable, and repeatable outcomes in high-stakes environments.
Enterprise Experience: Ideally, the candidate has a proven track record of delivering results within large-scale enterprise environments.
Operational Flexibility: Willingness to support our global operations by working European business hours or extended shifts as project requirements dictate.
Mobility: Flexibility and readiness for short- to medium-term onsite travel to support international client engagements.
Preferred Additional Skills
Splunk ITSI:
Hands-on experience building Service Analysers and managing Notable Events within the ITSI framework.
Splunk Core:
Strong ability to write complex SPL and manage data onboarding.
Cloud Platforms:
Deep understanding of AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor
