What this role is about As the owner of key FP&A pillars, you will transform raw data into strategic insights that empower business units to make informed decisions. You will build robust, automated financial models and processes, partner with BI and data teams to move analyses out of spreadsheets, and support the company’s rapid growth trajectory.
What you’ll do
Core Modeling: Own and evolve the company’s core operating models, including sophisticated financial modeling and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and implementation of advanced financial planning and forecasting processes.
Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to cross‑functional teams, identifying challenges and delivering actionable solutions.
Close & Variance Analysis: Support monthly and quarterly close processes, providing deep‑dive variance analysis to identify trends and risks.
Reporting Packages: Deliver timely, accurate monthly reporting packages for the executive team and board.
KPI Management: Own the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and performance metrics.
Systems and Automation: Partner with BI and data engineering to move recurring analysis out of spreadsheets and into governed systems.
Cross‑functional Influence: Raise the analytical bar across finance and the business through the quality of your work.
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate
Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, banking, consulting, or equity research. SaaS or tech exposure preferred, not required.
Technical Stack: Fluent with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor). Comfortable in Excel and Sheets, but oriented toward moving analysis into durable systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Mindset: A self‑directed "financial innovator" who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Skills: Strong first‑principles problem solving, clean analytical reasoning, and conclusion‑first written communication.

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $125,000–$150,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options.
