Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal and factual research using various databases and legal resources.
Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery, and legal databases.
Assist with the preparation for hearings, trials, and meetings.
File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronically and in-person, as applicable).
Summarize depositions, transcripts, and witness statements.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and outside counsel.
Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filing and response.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and data entry as required.
Qualifications
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong understanding of legal terminology, court systems, and legal procedures.
Familiarity with U.S. legal systems is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Technical Requirements
A computer with dual monitor setup is required
Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
