POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Dufferin, a warm and welcoming private seniors' residence, has a Server/Waitress position available for a temporary part-time position, approximately 24 hours per week, daytime hours (11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take residents' orders accurately and serve them.
• cabaret delivery to the room

Food Services

• Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
• Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
• Perform other related duties
• Prepare the lunches and suppers for the Health Care department

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexibility for the work schedule
• Good communication
• Good team player
• One year of experience in a similar position, mandatory
• Knowledge of retirement homes, an asset
• At a minimum, have a secondary 5
