Summary of Job:
We are seeking a skilled Generator Field Service Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators, along with a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills. The Generator Field Service Technician will be responsible for servicing a variety of generator models and brands in the states of Tennessee (TN) and Alabama (AL), ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably for our customers.Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Generator Field Service Technician (GENERAC) or similar role
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Familiarity with generator models and brands.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in tight spaces.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
