Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Responsibilities
Support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects to ensure ship supportability and life cycle management in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and regulations. Perform system lifecycle cost analysis and develop component studies. Protect and control proprietary materials. Analyze logistics data using methods such as data mining, data modeling, and cost/benefit analysis. Compute reporting metrics (e.g., on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment rates, inventory). Enter and maintain logistics-related data in databases. Interpret data on logistics elements, including availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and distribution, supplier management, and transportation. Maintain logistics records in accordance with Government policy. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures. Experience
5 years of experience providing logistics support to NAVSEA programs. Familiarity with Navy logistics systems such as HIS Haystack, MBPS, NDE, and MRDB. Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, business, or related field, or relevant direct military experience in lieu of degree. Benefits
