About the Role As a Lead Prisma Cloud Security Engineer, you'll own the delivery of cloud security solutions for enterprise clients — from implementation and policy development to mentoring junior engineers and advising client leadership. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where your expertise will directly influence how organizations secure their cloud environments at scale.
This position is fully remote with approximately one onsite client visit per quarter. All travel expenses are covered by Novacoast.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
Lead client-facing projects by implementing and/or managing Prisma Cloud across different singular or multi-cloud environments.
Write custom Prisma Cloud policies and APIs to meet client-specific needs.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes to support container security.
Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate security processes.
Develop and deliver detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities.
Strategy planning for moving critical data, intellectual property, and high-demand applications to Public Cloud.
Act as the customers advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up with the customer through resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to troubleshoot, guide, and deploy solutions.
As the Prisma Cloud Security Team grows, 10-20% of your time will be mentoring Prisma Cloud Engagement Engineers to ensuring consistent quality of client care across the team.
Write code/scripts as needed.
Requirements
Extensive experience implementing and/or managing Prisma Cloud is required
Experience as a professional services engineer, consultant, DevOps Engineer or DevSecOps engineer preferred
Python Scripting and Prisma Cloud Resource Query Language (RQL) scripting experience required. Programming experience in NodeJS, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, YAML and/or JSON a plus
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and delivering security solutions in enterprise environments- specifically with securing public cloud offerings
Experience in a Senior engineering or Lead capacity with mentorship responsibilities
Understanding of API based security and compliance standards and Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting
Must have mid to advanced-level experience in Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud installation, configuration and administration of security features and services
Proficiency with cloud networking models and connectivity, network security, virtualization, and cloud computing
Experience automating pipelines in CI/CD environments
Must be comfortable with presenting to Leadership and the customer and possess strong consulting skills
Work remotely full-time with quarterly visits to the customer site
Travel Travel up to 10% - once per quarter onsite client visits and/or training as needed.
