Digital Mission Engineering Activities
Developing SysML models
Using state‑of‑the‑art physics simulation tools
Pursuing certification in common engineering tools
Analyzing simulation results
Reviewing research and development (R&D) requirements and opportunities
Analyzing system requirements and proposing solutions to meet mission objectives.
Assisting in the documentation of system architectures, design decisions, and implementation details.
Engaging in cross‑functional collaboration with teams from different disciplines, such as software development, hardware engineering, and cybersecurity, to ensure holistic solutions.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Major in computer science, engineering, MIS, or information technology
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Thorough understanding of internet research
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Job Details
Remote work allowed
Laptop provided
Expected hours: ~10 per week
