Duties Looking for a hybrid profile: someone who can write complex Teradata SQL, understand mainframe batch processes, and have hands-on scripting skills (Linux/Python)—plus leadership ability in a collaborative Agile team.
Job Specifics
Deep understanding of
Teradata architecture
and how to write
efficient, optimized queries .
Experience with
Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDWs) —knows how to extract and transform large datasets.
Teradata SQL experience: 5+ years
Familiar with
JCL, CA7
job scheduling, and running batch processes.
Comfortable navigating mainframe systems and integrating their outputs.
IBM Mainframe: 5+ years, JCL: 5+ years, CA7: 5+ years
Scripting and modern tooling :
Comfortable with
Linux/Unix
and shell scripting.
Linux/Unix: 2+ years, Python & Java: 2+ years
