Position Purpose This position will create, maintain, and provide accurate pricing to internal teams while administering the company’s pricing policies. Develop a direct working relationship primarily with Price Analysts and Customer Care to validate and clear price discrepancies.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Data Entry / Price Uploads – high volume at times. Review, administer pricing templates, and enter approved price requests received from Price Analysts, Product Line, and Sales leadership. Ability to keep clear documentation of all communication and approvals for all pricing processes.
Resolution of Orders with price discrepancies – high volume at times. Pull, review, research, and resolve price discrepancies as they arise. Troubleshoot pricing entry issues with Customer Care, Sales, and Price Analysts. Perform root cause analysis and define corrective action for pricing errors.
Communication. Generate Price Lists for distribution to internal departments. Effective communication with Customer Care and Price Analysts when resolving price discrepancies. Maintain distribution lists.
Accountable for maintenance of pricing. Create, Edit, and communicate accurate price records for internal departments. Maintain specific customer requested excel price lists. Establish traceability for each customer’s pricing.
Special pricing related projects as needed.
Education/Qualifications Required
High School Diploma required – BS degree a plus.
3-year clerical position utilizing computers, accounting, or Customer Service emphasis.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office and related software applications - Emphasis in Excel and Access.
Basic understanding of sales order processes and basic pricing concepts using ERP system in a manufacturing-based environment.
High proficiency in use of JD Edwards software a plus.
Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and ability to responsibly maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and with teams.
Ability to travel when required.
