is seeking a technically focused
Sr. Engineering Manager.
This remote-based role is posted and available for candidates not local to an existing Farnsworth Group location. In this role, you will provide engineering, staff support, and QC/QA services for transportation roadway and street projects. Services are for local, statewide, and nationwide clients in the support of multiple planning and design projects.
What You'll Do:
Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
Develop and mentor staff
Collaborate with other disciplines
Develop and maintain Client Relations
Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects
Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD.
