Overview As the payment leader within the insurtech space, One Inc provides its customers a full suite of inbound and outbound payment solutions. The Software Implementation Consultant plays a key role in the delivery of our SaaS product suite by acting as a customer advocate and ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered on time and to customer expectations. The consultant works in parallel with an implementation Project Manager to successfully plan and execute the onboarding of new clients onto our Digital Payments SaaS platform, as well as adding new capabilities for existing customers.
The ideal consultant possesses the ability to learn software rapidly, configure solutions, apply analytical troubleshooting tools, and problem-solve application issues. Candidates are expected to become technical experts and masters of all skills required to launch solutions for our clients; steadily building knowledge of One Inc’s platforms and digital payments domain.
Onboarding customers efficiently with attention to flexibility and scalability is a key attribute of every implementation engagement. The consultant works cross-functionally within One Inc as well as with customer project teams to facilitate documentation, delivery, and scalability of the Digital Payments solution. Teams involved include development, QA, product, payment operations, success, and support. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is desired, as is project management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
Configure payment platform features
Communicate API contract information to customers and assist them with understanding our API structure
Produce required artifacts such as Use Cases, Process Flows, Integration Diagrams, and other documentation as needed

Extract requirements from customers by coordinating and running face‑to‑face and web‑conferencing interviews
Document requirements, nuances, and solutions to be implemented
Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high‑level information into details, abstract up from low‑level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Work independently with stakeholders to define concepts, review specifications, solicit feedback, and obtain approval for specifications
Work in tandem with the project manager to coordinate deliverables and communicate updates
Work with developers and QA to understand and coordinate technical requirements and design
Complete high‑level testing to ensure solution is functioning per requirements
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to customers and other locations within the United States
Qualifications

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience is required
4+ years of recent experience in a SaaS environment is required
Experience gathering, creating and managing requirements is required
Experience building UI mockups & wire‑framing mockups is required
Experience working on third‑party integrations, REST APIs
Insurance industry experience is highly desired, including policy management and digital payment
AGILE Development & SCRUM methodology experience is preferred
Experience working with complex projects with multiple tasks and subtasks
