Job Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Functional Consultant Remote Work: Allowed Travel: 15% Job Description A Payroll functional consultant in Oracle Cloud HCM Applications responsible for working closely with the business partners / business to support and deliver system solutions. This will require thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes of Oracle Cloud HCM Applications. The person will provide hands on guidance on business requirements development, support, system design and delivery. The ideal candidate should have prior Oracle Fusion HCM implementation consulting experience, with expertise in implementing Oracle Payroll module. Candidate will be part of teams Oracle Fusion HCM implementations for clients.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementations and support engagements.
Act as a functional lead/SME for Payroll and related HCM modules.
Configure and manage: Payroll elements (earnings, deductions), Payroll processing and calculations, Tax setup and compliance, Fast Formulas.
Work closely with modules such as: Core HR, Absence Management, Time & Labor.
Drive requirement gathering, solution design, and client workshops.
Lead data migration, integrations, and reporting solutions.
Ensure compliance with US payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
Oversee system testing, UAT, and production support.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams for successful delivery.
Mandatory Skills
At least 10+ years of Implementation / Support experience in implementing Oracle HCM Applications.
At least 5 implementations of Oracle Cloud HCM applications, working as a Payroll functional consultant.
Strong expertise in US Payroll implementation and configuration.
Deep understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and compliance.
Hands-on experience with Fast Formulas and payroll configurations.
Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on assignments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Ability to work well in a team environment.
Academic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Management, Business Administration, or related technical field.
