These positions play a critical role in driving business growth, providing strategic and operational support that empowers our teams in the field to deliver exceptional results. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing Ferrellgas operational integration processes, developing strategic procedures to increase the efficiency and productivity of the data streams, and evaluating the optimal performance of systems to support daily business functions.
This management position will work closely with project teams to oversee and approve the work of direct reports and other team members developing integrations. The Manager of IT Integrations will serve as the application owner for integration tools such as Boomi and AWS SQS/SNS, Control M, as well as message-oriented middleware such as IBM MQ. The role requires excellent technical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Manages employee, contract, and partner personnel.
Assists with budgeting for enhancements and resources that correlate with an integrations vision and roadmap.
Leads the software development team to design and develop frontend and backend APIs/Web Services solutions using middleware integration tools and API Management Tools to integrate disparate business systems in multi‑tier environments to meet business requirements and deliver on time, within budget, and with excellent quality.
Uses best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high‑performance integration solutions and deliver a high‑availability experience.
Designs and develops integration capabilities between various data sources and systems throughout Ferrellgas using Boomi, AWS, Control M or other middleware as needed.
Oversees the development and maintenance of data extraction, transformation, and mappings from multiple source systems that comprise databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Navision, etc.
Collaborates with senior leadership team and fellow managers to develop a strategy and roadmap for continuous process improvement focused on our customers’ experience.
Ensures integration solutions are compatible with platform releases and consistently utilize new functionalities introduced into integration platforms.
Evaluates and manages security risks in solution design and development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience in full stack of Middleware Integration Tool (Boomi) Java, Caching, SQL, REST/SOAP API, API Management Tool, JavaScript, Micro Services, JSON.
3+ years of current and hands‑on experience with integration platforms.
Project management and excellent communication skills, including the ability to write project plans and reports.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and design robust, scalable integration solutions. Advanced competency in object‑oriented design, data structures, integration design patterns, and complexity analysis.
Experience with the entire integration development lifecycle from Design and Build to Governance, Management and Compliance.
Ability to communicate in both technical and business environments.
Ability to plan, execute, and measure high‑impact projects.
1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting colleagues, peers, and/or direct reports.
Critical thinking, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
Professional and positive approach, self‑motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
