The Project Superintendent is responsible for the efficient scheduling, management, and coordination of all subcontractors, construction trades, and labor crews to work in unity in order to ensure quality and construction progress according to the project Master Schedule. The role requires proven construction experience as a Superintendent, plus a history of leading, teaching, and mentoring others, and the ability to thoroughly understand and follow plans, project specifications, design documents, code requirements, and other similar construction activities. Location & Travel Details You’ll have the opportunity to travel across the US to help build infrastructure projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. Projects may be located in various states (Full List: NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, WY). Typical project duration is 6-8 months. If eligible, per diem, relocation assistance, a vehicle allowance, and a travel-home rotation (one weekend per month away from the job site) may be provided. Responsibilities Permit document administration and control Complete review and understanding of subcontractor’s scope of work Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety Control project access and traffic Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental Coordinate, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing Coordinate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting Complete “3-week look ahead schedule” and update master schedule with PCM Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore) Maintain “As Built” drawings for final submittal Coordinate and schedule project inspections Final inspection and proper close-out documentation Quality control of installed materials and equipment Site layout and control of benchmarks Qualifications Work Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; minimum 3 years’ experience as a construction Superintendent. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of work experience.
