Job Description: Own and manage the Hospice AWS infrastructure using Terraform (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Backup)
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications transitioning from legacy deployment processes
Execute the cloud cost optimization roadmap: right-sizing, savings plans, storage tiering
Plan and lead the migration from EC2-based workloads to modern architectures (EKS, Lambda, Step Functions)
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability (Datadog, CloudWatch)
Ensure HITRUST E1 compliance and security best practices across all environments
Mentor and upskill the Hospice application team on AWS operations and modern SDLC practices
Collaborate with DBA team on the SQL Server EC2 to RDS migration
Manage production patching, backup/DR, and incident response for the Hospice platform
Requirements: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Deep expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform)
Strong Terraform experience (modules, state management, CI/CD integration)
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2)
