Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role located in Boston, MA, for an Event Chef. The Event Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes at catered events, ensuring culinary excellence and timely service. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the event team, maintaining kitchen and food safety standards, and contributing to menu development. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and close adherence to event timelines and client specifications.
Qualifications Culinary skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating aesthetics Experience in event catering and handling of on-site food service operations Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene protocols Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing environments Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with event staff Flexibility with schedules, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Culinary school certification or equivalent professional cooking experience
