Business Analyst Project Description Sprinterra invites you to join our friendly and talented team!
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a long-term, fast-moving project for a renowned jewelry brand based in New York City. You’ll work on two interconnected systems that form the company’s digital foundation:
• eCommerce platform – a customer-facing website for browsing, customizing, and purchasing jewelry.
• Custom ERP system – used internally to manage inventory, appointments, and client relationships.
The project is in active, ongoing development, with continuous enhancements, redesigns, and integration improvements between both platforms. It’s a dynamic environment where requirements evolve and priorities shift, offering plenty of variety and challenge. You’ll collaborate directly with the business owner, client stakeholders, and our development and QA teams to analyze needs, refine requirements, and ensure smooth, high-quality delivery.
AI-Augmented Work & Process Automation
MUST HAVE Actively use AI-powered tools to accelerate requirements drafting, documentation, and analysis tasks
Identify and automate repetitive BA workflows such as ticket creation, requirements formatting, acceptance criteria generation, and status reporting
Build and maintain reusable templates, and automation scripts that increase team throughput (skills, plugins etc)
Evaluate and recommend AI tools or integrations that improve requirements traceability and cross-team alignment
Use process modeling and flow automation to optimize handoffs between business analysis, development, and QA
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the client’s business owner and internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements
Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Work closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure shared understanding and alignment on scope and priorities
Participate in estimation sessions with the team to define effort, dependencies, and delivery timelines
Analyze risks and dependencies, identifying potential impacts on scope, cost, or schedule
Manage change requests — evaluate their impact, document adjustments, and maintain transparent communication with all parties
Adapt flexibly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
Support ongoing feature enhancements, redesigns, and integration improvements between systems
Ensure that deliverables meet both business expectations and technical feasibility standards
Maintain clear, organized documentation, generate progress reports and provide regular updates on progress and open items to a Project Manager
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects, in eCommerce, ERP, preferably in Magento
Proven experience automating BA tasks and workflows, with measurable impact on documentation speed, requirements quality, or team throughput
Experience working on Fixed Cost projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions
Experience holding estimation sessions and collaborating closely with technical teams to align on scope and effort
Confidence in managing changes assessing impact
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders. Clear, well-structured, and timely responses are a must-have in our communication
English proficiency at an upper-intermediate or higher level (both written and verbal)
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process modeling, use case development, data flow diagrams)
Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and high-quality project documentation
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
