Executing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic testing, and developing personalized treatment plans Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical issues either independently or collaboratively with supervising physicians Empowering patients and their families with knowledge on health maintenance, prevention, and chronic illness management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care strategies Working cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and comprehensive care experience Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) What You Need to Join Us
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program Certification Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Virginia National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Your Distinctive Attributes
