Administering thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic evaluations, and collaborating on personalized treatment strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in conjunction with a physician Educating patients and their families on health promotion, preventive care, and disease management strategies Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies aligned with clinical guidelines Involving yourself in patient follow-up and chronic disease management initiatives Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to guarantee a comprehensive approach to patient care Maintaining precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Required Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certification
Current Nurse Practitioner license valid in the state of Kansas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (or obtain within 90 days) What Makes You Stand Out
