Audubon is seeking a motivated and results-driven early-career professional or recent graduate to join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the water filtration industry. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in sales, business development, and client relationship management. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and supporting the sales pipeline from initial outreach through proposal development. This is a high-impact position with clear opportunities for growth within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach to generate new leads
- Qualify inbound and outbound prospects and schedule meetings for yourself and sales team members
- Track and manage leads, pipeline activity, and sales performance using spreadsheets and CRM systems
- Assist in developing professional sales presentations and customized proposals based on client needs
- Research target industries, companies, and market trends to uncover new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely, consistent follow-up with prospects
- Consistently generating qualified meetings on a weekly/monthly basis
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM data
- Developing confidence and effectiveness in cold outreach within the first 6090 days
- Progressing toward closing or full-cycle sales responsibilities over time
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:
- All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
- Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
- Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
- Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and engaging new prospects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data tracking), PowerPoint (presentations), and basic CRM tools
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic
