Physical Therapy Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to assist in providing therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will help residents carry out treatment plans to improve mobility and overall function.
Key Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans developed by the PT
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Monitor and report resident progress to the PT
- Document treatment sessions accurately
- Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
- Communicate effectively with residents and care team
- Active PTA license in the state
- Prior experience in a nursing home or rehab setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively
