Position: Teacher

Contract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only

Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Battle

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

At ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we specialize in providing education for 7-18-year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that inspires learning, encourages aspiration, and promotes achievement.

We are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher who has a passion for working with vulnerable children across Key Stages 3 & 4. If you have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and are eager to teach subjects like Functional Skills and Media, including ESports, we want to hear from you!

• Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
• Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Successful teaching experience, particularly with SEN students.
• Experience in nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths or English.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• A reflective practitioner who understands therapeutic approaches to education.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
