A well-established organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join its dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in supporting both strategic and operational HR functions, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, compliance, and workforce support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support workplace investigations , ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
- Manage short- and long-term disability claims , return-to-work processes, and workplace accommodations .
- Partner closely with direct labor teams to address employee relations , payroll issues , and day-to-day HR support.
- Utilize Workday for HRIS tasks, reporting, and employee data management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on EHS-related matters , including workplace injuries and safety protocols.
- Support HR initiatives related to compliance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting .
- Proven experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of disability management , accommodation processes , and return-to-work legislation .
- Demonstrated expertise in workplace investigations and employee relations .
- Familiarity with EHS practices is a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
