Customer Service Representative
Location: Eagan, MN
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
The Customer Service Representative provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service by responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, the warehouse, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll DoRespond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and deliveries
Process customer work orders and generate required documentation
Coordinate with warehouse and office teams on scheduling, invoicing, and credit adjustments
Track orders, update inventory records, and maintain accurate files
Resolve refused, short, overage, and damaged (OS&D) orders
Report customer feedback and service issues to management
Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general clerical support
Schedule loads and ensure shipments are properly closed
Perform other duties as assigned
0–2 years of related customer service or office experience
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience handling challenging customer situations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (preferred)
Accurate typing and data entry skills
Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent interruptions
Occasional standing, reaching, bending, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Ability to use office equipment and electronic tools
May require occasional travel and visits to warehouse environments, including cold temperatures
