Adecco is currently hiring a Store Manager for a full-time position in Victoria, BC. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in retail or building materials who thrives in a customer-facing and operational environment.
As a Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a specialty countertops retail and manufacturing location, while leading teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.
  • Pay Rate: $60,000-$75,000/year
  • Location: Victoria, BC
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (typical business hours)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the countertops retail and manufacturing store
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely supply of materials and products
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales and warehouse teams
  • Assist customers with product knowledge, including granite, quartz, wood, hardware, and accessories
  • Oversee budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and showroom presentation
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, and industry decision-makers
  • Support overall store performance and operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail management, building materials, construction products, or a related industry
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with contractors, builders, and industry professionals
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to lift moderate weight as required
  • Customer-focused mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
