The Role
As a key member of the fund accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing service delivery to a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellence across all outputs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the preparation and review of daily, weekly, and monthly fund valuations
- Ensuring high‑quality service delivery in line with agreed client standards and deadlines
- Leading and supporting a team to achieve consistent, efficient, and controlled outcomes
- Reviewing complex transactions and applying technical expertise to resolve issues
- Managing client relationships and ensuring service level agreements are met or exceeded
- Monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and risk indicators to maintain strong operational control
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including Investor Relations, Depositary, IT, and other operational teams
- Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Supporting new client onboarding, product launches, and strategic initiatives
- Contributing to projects focused on enhancing systems and operating models
- Coaching and developing team members, with a strong focus on performance and succession planning
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong technical background combined with leadership capability and a proactive mindset.
You will ideally have:
- 3–4 years’ experience in hedge fund accounting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role
- Solid knowledge of complex financial instruments, particularly OTC derivatives
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
