In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders using an RF scanner and pick lists.
- Verify accuracy of picked items, including quantity and product codes.
- Stage picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow.
- Awareness of safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
