Our fast-paced distribution center in New York City, New York, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance. You will be instrumental in optimizing workflow, improving productivity, and maintaining high standards for inventory management and order fulfillment. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective supply chain management. Conducting regular safety meetings, enforcing the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring a safe working environment are top priorities. You will also be involved in implementing process improvements, analyzing operational data, and reporting on key performance indicators. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in warehouse supervision, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to motivate and develop a team. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. This role involves significant responsibility for the team's safety and the overall success of our logistics operations.
