Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler in Nashville, Tennessee, where you'll play a vital role in the smooth flow of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating various equipment, transporting items, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of all cargo.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking materials.
  • Organize materials to optimize warehouse space and accessibility.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Support picking and packing operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if required.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
