As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating various equipment, transporting items, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of all cargo.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking materials.
- Organize materials to optimize warehouse space and accessibility.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Support picking and packing operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime if required.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
